Email Blacklist Removal/Remediation
It wasn’t me, officer.
“Blacklisted.”
Even the word itself is menacing. However, as bad as it may sound, the implications of your server or IP address getting blacklisted are much worse.
To cut down on spam, multiple organizations have developed blacklists that will prevent known spammers from sending messages to email users. When an address is added to one of these lists, the messages sent will be disregarded and immediately bounced back to the sender. To gather email, IP, and server addresses for these lists, blacklist organizations use a wide variety of methods, including spam-trap email recipients and manual user reports. Unfortunately, these methods are not foolproof, and innocent organizations can often find themselves blacklisted and unable to communicate with customers.
At Rack911, our expert team has extensive experience in blacklist remediation. We help customers not only get their addresses removed from some of the most significant blacklists, but also identify the source of wrongful categorization so that it won’t happen again.
